We  believe that The Legal Consultancy can offer a suitable solution to you and your clients as it is an industry that we understand very well.

Most Debt collection agencies charge for their work like bailiffs, making the overall debt less important then the recovery of their own fees. This also makes the repayment much more difficult for the debtor, due to the escalation of fees on top of the original debt.

Needless to say, we do not advocate this as good practice.

We  carry the cost of tracing agents, outdoor agent visits, referencing agency searches, administrative costs including postage etc. and only charge a percentage of the debt without any punitive measures against co-operating debtors.

We would also tailor an approach to suit both parties, the idea being to work with the debtor in an amicable fashion to bring about a workable solution.

We advocate the use of  a payment plan depending on the circumstances. Most people do not intentionally get in debt and helping them to meet their indebtedness in a reasonable manner means we are more likely to recover more of the debt. 

We are not aggressive in our approach and much prefer to talk to the debtor in a courteous and friendly manner, experience has shown us that debtors will bury their heads in the sand if your approach is too tough.

We will account to you on a monthly basis, showing details of action taken and results achieved, giving you full transparency on a real time basis with all the MI you require. 

Times are hard, so workable solutions are more often than not the answer.
